Is there a cost for training with the Arkell's Academy
These qualifications are funded, but a contribution is required for over 19s. Students aged 16-18 are fully funded only.

NVQs are full cost only.

Who's eligible to join?
Any Arkell's employee or employee of any tenanted house who hasn't previously gained a university degree*, is not already currently in education and works at least 16 hours per week.

So it's not just for 16-23 year olds, then?
No. The Arkell's Academy is open to ALL those who work in Arkell's pubs & establishments. We want to actively encourage all who work for Arkell's to improve their job skills and their work-related knowledge throughout their careers with us.

Who runs the apprenticeships?
Swindon College in partnership with Arkell's Brewery run our apprenticeship programme. Please contact (01793) 498404 for more details.
